It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry B. Lloyd Jr. Born in Columbus, OH, on September 4th, 1957, Harry was a man who lived life to the fullest and left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he encountered. A pillar of strength, kindness, and unwavering loyalty, Harry was a beacon of light that illuminated the lives of many.

Throughout his life, Harry wore many hats. He was a loving husband to Rita Sims, a dedicated father, a doting grandfather, a loyal son, a caring brother, an affectionate uncle, a steadfast in-law, and a faithful friend. In his professional life, Harry was a committed and diligent IT Tech at Columbus State Community. However, beyond his occupational status, Harry was a jack of all trades. He was the kind of man who never left a job unfinished, always ensuring he was there to help those in need. His hardworking nature was only matched by his unconditional love for his family and friends. As the adage goes, "A man is not dead while his name is still spoken," Harry's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all those whose lives he touched.

Harry had a unique ability to bring laughter even during the most challenging moments. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor were truly one of a kind. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Harry made everyone feel loved, cherished, and important. His legacy isn't one of material possessions, but of intangible treasures - the memories created, the stories shared, the laughter, the love, the comfort, and the safe haven he provided for so many. His spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding us through our darkest days and reminding us of the love he had for each and every one of us.

In remembering Harry, we invite you to the visitation on Thursday, 11th June 2026 at 10:00am at Evergreen Funeral Service & Reception located at 1855 E 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43219. The Home Going Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am at the same location. Harry is survived by his loving spouse Rita Sims and is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Jeanette Lloyd.

We are reminded of John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." As we celebrate Harry's life, we hope you will find comfort and peace in the memories you shared with him.
