Cloteal Kincade

–

Columbus, Ohio

Cloteal Kincade, affectionately known as "Teal," was born on December 23, 1945, in Shreveport, Louisiana. On September 4, 2026, Teal graduated from Central High School and began her working career at Western Electric. She later continued her career at Grant Hospital, where her caring and compassionate nature allowed her to do what came naturally to her—serve and help others. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Grant Hospital.

Teal was a devoted member of Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, where her faith in God was an important part of her life. She carried that faith beyond the walls of the church through the way she loved, cared for, and poured into the people around her. She had a giving spirit and a heart for helping others. Whether you were family, a friend, or simply someone in need, Teal was always willing to lend a helping hand.

To her family, she was much more than a daughter, sister, and aunt. Teal was love, family, strength, and a helping hand all wrapped into one. Her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews were blessed to experience a special kind of love from her. Her presence created precious memories that will continue to be shared from generation to generation.

Teal was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Pearlie Walton, and her brothers David, Larry Sr., Henry, and Charles Sr. Walton. nephews, Mark and Lennell “Phat Cat” Walton; great-nephews, Tomane McGraw, Terrico Henry, and Keishaun Walton; her aunt, Mary Elizabeth Willingham; and her uncle, Frank Bilberry Jr.
She is survived by her sisters Rose Walton- Fluellen(Walt)Lois Lymon, Lena Walton, and her brother Ricky Walton Sr. and her loving niece and caregiver, Tahitia Triplett.

She also leaves a loving legacy with her nieces and nephews:, Joanne (Angel) Madison, Leroy (Anji) McGraw, Terri Walton, Dennis McGraw, Sandy McGraw, Donna McGraw, Toni McGraw, Steven McGraw, Robert Walton(Tiffany), Shaunette Walton -Guthrie (Marcus ) Tahitia Triplett(Thor) Heaven (Deasia) Walton, Charles Mitchell ,Monica Terry ,Philip Wilkes and Duncan Walton & a host of great nieces and nephews who will continue to keep her memory alive.

Despite the heaviness of loss, we are immensely grateful for the years God blessed us with Teal. Teal's life was a reminder that a life filled with love and service leaves a legacy that death can never erase. The helping hands she extended, the love she gave, the prayers she prayed, and the lives she touched will continue to live on through everyone who was blessed to know and love her. As it says in Matthew 25:23, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Indeed, Teal, your work here is complete, and your memory will forever be a beacon of love and service in our hearts.

We invite you to share your cherished memories of Cloteal and upload photos to her memorial page. Your contributions will help us all to remember the extraordinary woman she was.
