Anneliese Abbott passed away on September 14, 2026, she will be dearly missed. Born in Moosburg, Germany, Anneliese grew up in a world that never left her. She always brought the charm of her Bavarian childhood to her loved ones, she made everyday feel special. Although she lived in America for much of her life, her heart was forever in Germany. Distance did not dull the love she had for those friends and family members thousands of miles away.
Her love of travel never left her, from the time she was a young girl traveling Europe to a young women raising two boys in Ohio. She made sure to visit and see as much of America as she could before settling into her home in Bradenton, Florida where she lived for over forty years. There were many things that kept her in Florida but one reason was good enough for her, in her words "The cold is nice to visit, but it's not for me."
Family was everything to Anneliese, her most cherished moments were the times she was surrounded by the people she loved. She never forgot a loved ones birthday, special occasion or holiday, and she especially loved Christmas. Every year was punctuated by the love she showed people during these times.
She couldn't help but be a light for those in her life. There will never be another person like her and she will be deeply missed. The people she touched, her friends and family, will never forget the countless memories they built together from a life worth living.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Nola) Abbott, her son Ryan Abbott (Ritta), her grandsons Chris, Michael (Anna), Colin, and Owen Abbott, her great-grandchildren Addison Abbott and Leo Edwards, her grandchild Jabbott, her brother Michael Webber and his children Michaela, Gabi, and Robert, her sister Margarethe and her daughter Doris, the children of her brother Konrad; Gerhard, Rudi, Konrad, Simone.
