With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Amanda Danielle Brown, affectionately known as Amanda or Mandy, on November 15, 2025. Born on September 4, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, Amanda was a beacon of charisma and creativity that lit up every room she entered. Her witty humor and empathetic nature drew people to her, and her ability to make anyone feel valued and understood was truly unique.
Amanda was a talented individual with a passion for cooking and creating. She graduated from Grove City High School and furthered her education at Southwest Career Academy, where she achieved her degree in Culinary Arts. Her creativity knew no bounds as she could transform a hodgepodge of ingredients into a culinary masterpiece, and she had a knack for finding that elusive piece that would tie together her creations. She carried this passion for creation into her personal life too, always on the hunt for the next piece that would bring things together. Amanda was a sensitive soul who valued the feelings of others above all else, often bearing their burdens as her own. Those who knew her well would agree, Amanda was a spark that brought light and warmth to those around her.
Amanda is survived by her loving son, Brayden McGregor, her brother, Bryan Keaton, and her aunts, Jeanie Hay, Yolanda Baker, Marilyn Brust, and Tonya Brust. She is also survived by her uncle, Troy Brust, and her second-cousins, Jess Compton, William Compton, and Ronald Compton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Long and Teresa Brown, her grandparents, John and Anna Brown, and Mary Long, as well as her uncle, Ty Brust, and her aunt, Jeanie Bocook.
As we mourn the loss of Amanda, we are reminded of Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Through our grief, we find comfort in knowing that Amanda's light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. We invite you to share your memories and photos of Amanda on her memorial page, as we celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. It is in sharing these memories that we keep her spirit alive.
